About The Position

Successful candidate will be responsible for supporting internal and client networking environments across all supported locations and customer sites. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of all network infrastructure. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, standardization, and support of network environments, with a strong focus on firewalls, routing, switching, and secure connectivity. You will own all aspects of network infrastructure and act as the primary escalation point for network-related incidents. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with direct responsibility for the engineering, uptime, and integrity of client and internal network environments. You will also serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior technical staff, helping elevate team capabilities and standardize processes. You will be expected to: Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution. Maintain full ownership of networking incidents through resolution. Follow company change management procedures when introducing changes. Document network environments and maintain accurate diagrams and standards. Provide recommendations to improve reliability, performance, and security.

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on networking experience with advanced implementation responsibilities
Advanced experience with network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and segmentation.
Experience building and supporting VPN technologies including site-to-site and client VPNs.
High-level understanding of routing protocols and carrier technologies (BGP, OSPF, etc.).
Ability to mentor and guide junior technical staff.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.

Nice To Haves

Fortinet (FortiGate) and/or SonicWall firewall platforms.
Network security best practices and segmentation strategies.
Experience in MSP or multi-client environments.
Network monitoring and alerting tools.
Creating and maintaining network diagrams and documentation.

Responsibilities

Own and manage all network infrastructure across internal and client environments.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and outages.
Design and implement network solutions aligned with best practices.
Standardize firewall configurations and network architectures.
Support cloud-integrated networking (hybrid/Azure environments).
Act as escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers.
Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
Maintain full ownership of networking incidents through resolution.
Follow company change management procedures when introducing changes.
Document network environments and maintain accurate diagrams and standards.
