This is a net-new Secure Development Environment (SDE) deployment supporting classified engineering and development workloads. This is not a maintenance role and it is not a traditional support position. We are specifically seeking engineers who have built environments from the ground up. Candidates should have experience with greenfield infrastructure deployments, data center buildouts, rack-and-stack initiatives, site standups, and enterprise infrastructure implementations. Candidates can be located anywhere in the United States but must be willing to travel during deployment activities. The project begins onsite in Dallas where the team will stand up secure infrastructure racks before traveling to Cedar Rapids to replicate the environment as part of the overall disaster recovery and continuity strategy. Travel expenses, hotel accommodations, rental vehicle, and per diem are provided. This initiative is focused on building a Secure Development Environment (SDE) designed to support classified engineering and development programs. The team will be responsible for standing up secure infrastructure from the ground up, including networking infrastructure, virtualization platforms, storage systems, identity services, encryption technologies, monitoring platforms, backup solutions, and disaster recovery capabilities. This engineer will play a critical role in building the network foundation that supports the overall Secure Development Environment while helping bring a brand-new secure engineering platform online across multiple sites.
