We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Azure and AWS cloud networking, SD‑WAN engineering, automation, and large‑scale enterprise WAN architectures. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on designing, optimizing, and securing complex hybrid cloud and on‑prem connectivity. In this role, we’ll hope you bring strong technical depth, operational excellence, and the ability to thrive in highly distributed network environments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands‑on enterprise network engineering experience.
  • 4+ years of cloud networking experience.
  • Cisco CCNP required.

  • Azure Network Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect
  • AWS Advanced Networking Specialty
  • Cisco CCIE
  • Experience with Grafana for observability, dashboarding, telemetry visualization, and performance analysis.
  • Proficiency with LiveAction or similar NPM/NPMD tools for flow analysis, packet visibility, SD‑WAN troubleshooting, QoS, and WAN diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Cloud Networking (Azure & AWS) Engineer and support core cloud networking capabilities including routing, segmentation, traffic flow design, and secure connectivity.
  • Architect, implement, and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions such as: Azure Virtual WAN (vWAN), Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Global Reach AWS Direct Connect, AWS Site‑to‑Site VPN, AWS Transit Gateway Routing design, route propagation, route table segmentation Implement and troubleshoot cloud peering technologies (Azure Peering, AWS VPC Peering).
  • Engineer resilient multi‑region and cross‑cloud architectures with predictable routing and high availability.
  • Configure and optimize cloud traffic distribution services including: Azure Traffic Manager Azure Load Balancer (Standard/Global)
  • Design and enforce cloud‑native traffic and security controls: Azure UDRs, Azure NSGs, AWS Security Groups Apply best practices for segmentation, encrypted transport, private access patterns, and traffic inspection.
  • Deploy, optimize, and support enterprise SD‑WAN platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and dynamic path selection.
  • Tune QoS, traffic shaping, and application‑aware routing across branch sites and cloud edges.
  • Engineer routing across MPLS, DIA, and private circuits using BGP/OSPF.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and packet‑level analysis across WAN, SD‑WAN, and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with telecom carriers/ISPs to manage SLAs and resolve complex network issues.
  • Integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines to support standardized deployments, compliance validation, and drift detection.
  • Build and manage network infrastructure using Terraform for cloud and SD‑WAN platforms.
  • Develop automation tooling and workflows using: Ansible (network automation, configuration management) JSON (Azure resource templates, AWS API/CLI outputs)
  • Support automated operational processes including provisioning, monitoring, testing, and configuration audits.
  • Partner closely with cloud engineering, security, architecture, and application teams to deliver secure and scalable network solutions.
  • Provide technical input during architecture planning and modernization initiatives.
  • Produce clear documentation, diagrams, standards, and runbooks.
  • Offer informal mentorship and knowledge‑sharing within the engineering team.
  • Serve as a key technical resource for break/fix operations across cloud, WAN, and SD‑WAN environments.
  • Participate in incident management workflows including triage, root‑cause analysis, impact assessment, and recovery planning.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving routing, cloud connectivity, security controls, automation pipelines, and WAN/SD‑WAN paths.
  • Respond to major outages, providing real‑time troubleshooting and hands‑on remediation.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation supporting 24/7 critical incidents.
  • Document incident findings and long‑term remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during high‑severity events to restore services and ensure stability.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco IOS(-XE) / NX‑OS routers, switches, and security appliances in WAN and datacenter environments.
  • Solid working knowledge of Fortinet technologies: FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiExtender (FEX), including HA, security policies, and VPN solutions.
  • Understanding of IPAM, DHCP, and DNS (planning, allocations, scope management, DNS zone/record administration).
  • Ability to interpret and correlate data across vendor platforms for troubleshooting, incident response, performance analysis, and proactive health assessments.
  • Knowledge of lifecycle management, firmware upgrades, configuration standards, and change‑control processes.
