About The Position

Pella Corporation is hiring a Senior Network Administrator to deploy, optimize, automate, and support a sophisticated LAN/WAN environment serving a wide range of business needs. The role partners with internal customers to understand their needs, translate them into technology solutions, and help ensure network infrastructure is secure, resilient, and prepared for future needs. The position combines hands-on technical expertise, problem solving, and customer partnership.

The role coordinates network technology implementations from procurement and installation through configuration, automation, management, and ongoing support. It also supports the evolution and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure and collaborates across teams to deliver solutions that meet technical requirements and business needs.

The position is remote in the United States and involves approximately 5% travel. Candidates are not expected to have experience with every listed technology; Pella is interested in a strong networking foundation, curiosity, and the ability to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Cisco, Palo Alto, or Arista certifications are preferred, but not required.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies, Arista Data Center and Campus Switching, Palo Alto Networks products, F5 BIG-IP, SolarWinds, EVPN-VXLAN, Arista CloudVision, BGP, VRFs/VRF-Lite, site-to-site VPNs, Cisco/Viptela SD-WAN, Cisco DNA Center, or Cisco Wireless.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, support, and optimize complex LAN and WAN environments.
• Coordinate network technology implementations from procurement and installation through configuration, automation, management, and ongoing support.
• Partner with customers and business teams to understand their needs and recommend effective technology solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues and identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Support the continued evolution and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver solutions that meet technical requirements and business needs.
