About The Position

Elliott Davis is seeking a Senior NetSuite Solution Architect at the Senior Manager level to lead the technical design and delivery of NetSuite solutions for multi-subsidiary clients, from discovery and scoping through go-live and hyper-care. The role architects complex solutions across NetSuite customizations, integrations, and connected systems; develops options analyses and technical estimates to inform scope and client decisions; and establishes technical standards for delivery teams. The Senior NetSuite Solution Architect reviews and develops the work of architects and developers, mentors team members, and partners with functional consultants and project managers to ensure designs meet business needs. The role also serves as a technical lead in client design sessions and pre-sales discussions, contributes hands-on to complex builds, helps resolve escalated defects, and supports research and development of reusable technology products and intellectual property. Strong NetSuite architecture and development experience is essential; familiarity with accounting and finance processes is a plus.

Requirements

  • SuiteCloud Developer II certification or other NetSuite certifications.
  • Celigo Builder Core certification.
  • Experience converting or modernizing legacy SuiteScript 1.0 or 2.0 scripts.
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and fixed assets.
  • Experience with Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), Multi-Book Accounting, OneWorld, and Fixed Asset Management.
  • Experience with SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, or modern data platforms such as Databricks.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales, scoping, or technical positioning with software and technology partners.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools, emphasizing quality and critical review of output.
  • Experience building reusable frameworks, accelerators, or technology products, or authoring technical thought leadership.
  • Industry experience in distribution, manufacturing, or professional services.
  • Prior professional services or consulting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and design for complex, multi-subsidiary NetSuite engagements involving multiple systems, integrations, and ERP-level technical decisions.
  • Produce options analyses, including approaches, pros and cons, and level of effort, to inform scoping and client decisions.
  • Provide technical estimates and feasibility input into project plans, including what can be built, when, and how.
  • Determine whether requests call for custom development, configuration, or workflow approaches, and right-size solutions to client needs.
  • Design integration architectures between NetSuite and third-party systems using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, iPaaS, and data platforms.
  • Translate functional requirements and use cases into technical designs and frameworks for build teams.
  • Set and uphold technical standards for SuiteScript 2.1 development, performance and governance management, source control, and deployment.
  • Review developers’ and architects’ work, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members.
  • Contribute hands-on to complex or critical builds and guide modernization of scripts written on older SuiteScript API versions.
  • Partner with functional consultants and project managers to ground designs in business requirements.
  • Lead technical client discovery, design, and working sessions, explaining options and trade-offs to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Support pre-sales through engagement scoping, feasibility assessments, and technical positioning in client and partner conversations.
  • Troubleshoot and guide resolution of escalated, complex defects across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, financials, inventory, and reporting.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully in design, development, testing, and documentation; critically review and validate AI-assisted work and help the team do the same.
  • Lead research and development efforts supporting the firm’s technology products and reusable intellectual property, including frameworks, accelerators, and thought leadership.
  • Perform other duties assigned within the scope of the practice.
