About The Position
NTT DATA is seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to modernize legacy .NET applications and deliver scalable, cloud-ready solutions. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise web applications and APIs, using modern .NET technologies, front-end frameworks, Azure services, and AI-assisted engineering tools. The developer will contribute to architecture, testing, security, performance, and delivery practices, collaborating with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders. The position is listed as hybrid / remote in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, though work arrangements may be subject to change based on client requirements and business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies.
- Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework 4.x, .NET 6/7/8, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience modernizing legacy applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Git source control and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework 4.x, and .NET 6/7/8.
- Develop responsive applications using Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Implement scalable and maintainable application architecture following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core.
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems through APIs, messaging platforms, and service-oriented architectures.
- Implement API security using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), and other authentication mechanisms.
- Assess legacy .NET Framework 4.x applications for modernization opportunities and migrate monolithic applications to modern .NET architectures.
- Refactor legacy code, reduce technical debt, and improve application performance and maintainability.
- Modernize authentication and authorization to support cloud-native identity solutions.
- Re-architect applications for containerization and deployment on Azure.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code generation, reviews, refactoring, documentation, and unit test creation.
- Implement AI-assisted automated strategies for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish best practices for responsible and secure use of AI in the software development lifecycle.
- Develop comprehensive unit and end-to-end test suites.
- Perform code reviews and enforce secure coding practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
