Senior .NET Developer (Application Modernization & Security Remediation)
About The Position
Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Senior .NET Developer on behalf of its client, Mphasis, for a contract / fixed-term engagement based in Jersey City, NJ, or Chicago, IL. The role is onsite and focused on modernizing legacy applications, remediating security vulnerabilities, and supporting enterprise production environments. The successful candidate will convert Classic ASP applications to .NET, resolve application security vulnerabilities and production issues, and support Windows Server migration or repave activities and production deployments. The role also involves SQL Server migrations, enterprise cryptographic and security integrations, post-quantum cryptography (PQC) readiness, testing, infrastructure modernization, and production support.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience with strong skills in C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
- Experience with Classic ASP modernization.
- Experience with SQL Server, IIS, and Windows Server.
- Secure coding, OWASP, and vulnerability remediation experience.
- Experience with production deployments.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
- Cryptography or security integrations.
- Post-quantum cryptography (PQC).
- Server migration projects.
Responsibilities
- Convert Classic ASP applications to .NET and modernize legacy applications.
- Resolve application security vulnerabilities and production issues.
- Support Windows Server migration or repave activities and production deployments.
- Execute SQL Server migrations and validate schemas, data, and connectivity.
- Integrate enterprise cryptographic and security solutions.
- Support post-quantum cryptography (PQC) readiness initiatives.
- Perform functional, regression, and post-deployment testing.
- Contribute to infrastructure modernization and provide production support.
