About The Position

As a Technology Consultant 2 in Infosys’s SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy) unit, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support of .NET/Azure applications. You will participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from documenting business requirements and facilitating design discussions to coding, testing, deployment support, and resolving production issues. The role involves collaborating with technical, business, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions and support application users. The SURE unit works with organizations in the services, utilities, energy, and resources sectors on digital transformation. It uses AI and digital technologies to support innovation and operational excellence. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Requirements

Hands-on experience in .NET/C# application development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support.
Experience with Microsoft Azure services and Azure-based application development.
Experience with REST APIs/Web APIs and application integration.
Hands-on experience in application and production support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and enterprise application integration.
Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including complex SQL queries, stored procedures, database development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Experience working in offshore application development and production support engagements.
Experience across the complete application development lifecycle, including development, delivery, deployment, maintenance, and production support.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, technical, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation.
Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
Participate in coding and integrate features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for transitions to new applications.
Help resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities for the knowledge base and related projects.
Contribute across SDLC phases, from requirements gathering through implementation.
Translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
Work with cross-functional teams on software integration.
Troubleshoot and refine applications.
