About The Position

The Infosys SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy) unit supports digital transformation in the services, utilities, energy, and resources sectors. The role is assigned the job role of Technology Consultant 2 and contributes to software development and application support, working across the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation and production support. The position involves contributing to requirements elicitation, facilitating and documenting software design discussions, coding and integrating features, reviewing and maintaining code, implementing test strategies, coordinating bug fixes, and supporting users through training and documentation. The role also participates in resolving production issues and maintaining records of code, testing, and support activities. Candidates should collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business and technical requirements into development work. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role now or in the future.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in .NET/C# application development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support.
Experience with Microsoft Azure services and Azure-based application development.
Experience with REST APIs/Web APIs and application integration.
Hands-on experience in application and production support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without employer-based visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and enterprise application integration.
Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including complex SQL queries, stored procedures, database development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Experience working in offshore application development and production support engagements.
Experience across the complete application development lifecycle, including development, delivery, deployment, maintenance, and production support.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, technical, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation, following provided guidance.
Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to facilitate transitions to new applications.
Participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities for the knowledge base and related projects.
Contribute across end-to-end SDLC phases, from requirements gathering through implementation.
Work with cross-functional teams on software integration.
