Senior .NET Core / Azure Developer
About The Position
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Core / Azure Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level applications using C#, .NET Core, and Microsoft Azure services. The role requires hands-on application development and Azure cloud engineering experience, along with the ability to independently manage technical responsibilities, lead development activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The developer will build and optimize secure, scalable REST APIs; implement Azure-based solutions; develop and tune SQL databases; and manage CI/CD pipelines and container deployments. The role also involves troubleshooting application and cloud issues, ensuring system reliability, participating in Agile ceremonies, and communicating with technical and business stakeholders. The position is onsite in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and candidates must be willing to relocate if they are not local.
Requirements
- Strong experience in .NET Core and C# development.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure development services.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and APIM.
- Strong REST API development and integration experience.
- Strong SQL development, query writing, and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle enterprise application development and cloud engineering responsibilities.
- Senior-level developer with strong leadership capabilities.
- Willingness to work onsite in Grand Rapids, MI.
- Willingness to relocate if not currently local.
- Valid work authorization.
- Availability for submission and interview within a short turnaround time.

- Apache Kafka.
- Retail domain experience, particularly Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using .NET Core and C#.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize secure and scalable REST APIs.
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure services.
- Work with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault, and Azure API Management (APIM).
- Design database schemas and develop complex SQL queries.
- Optimize SQL queries and ensure database performance and data integrity.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Implement application containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot application and cloud-related issues and ensure system reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical leadership, guide development activities, and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
