About The Position

Description Of Services is seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer 3 to perform advanced, senior-level software development and programming work. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex web-based and enterprise applications. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead development efforts across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
8+ years of senior-level experience in software development and system analysis
8+ years of experience in designing and developing web-based applications
8+ years of programming experience in technologies such as: .NET / C#
8+ years of programming experience in technologies such as: HTML / HTML5
8+ years of programming experience in technologies such as: JavaScript
8+ years of programming experience in technologies such as: SQL / Stored Procedures
8+ years of programming experience in technologies such as: ASP, Java, JSP (working knowledge)
8+ years of experience across all phases of the SDLC
8+ years experience in application administration and management
8+ years leading SDLC projects from initiation to deployment
8+ years experience in root cause analysis and issue resolution
6+ years experience with Agile methodologies
6+ years experience in cross-team collaboration and stakeholder engagement
5+ years experience implementing security requirements in applications
5+ years leading development teams, including code review and validation
5+ years experience in technical documentation and release management
5+ years presenting solutions and demos to stakeholders
4+ years experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar
2+ years experience with C# .NET Blazor
Experience migrating applications from Java to C# .NET Blazor
Knowledge of responsive web design principles
Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Prior experience working with (TDA) systems

Responsibilities

Perform advanced programming, design, and development of software solutions
Analyze user requirements, workflows, and system processes to develop effective solutions
Design, develop, test, debug, and document complex applications (client/server and web-based)
Build and enhance applications using C# (.NET), Blazor, SQL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
Develop front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and database technologies
Work with Oracle and SQL Server, including stored procedures and database design
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and architects to define requirements
Support and maintain existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes
Lead modernization efforts, including migration of legacy systems to modern platforms
Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing application design
Utilize tools such as Visual Studio 2022, .NET Core 9.0, DevExpress
Participate in Agile development processes and SDLC phases
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams
Prepare technical documentation, release notes, and system specifications
Present application changes and solutions to stakeholders for approval
Recommend improvements to development processes and standards
