About The Position

The Senior National Sales Executive will serve as a National Account Manager within Connected Communities' National Accounts & Portfolio Management organization. This role is responsible for managing executive relationships, driving portfolio growth strategies, supporting contract renewals, and serving as the primary point of accountability for AT&T's largest national MDU and SFU customers. Success in this role requires strong executive presence, strategic thinking, customer advocacy, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, retention, and portfolio performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of sales-related experience.
  • Meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at customer site.
  • Communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales, etc.
  • Traveling to/from the customer premise for sales activities.
  • Providing subject matter expertise on technical sales issues.
  • Advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs.
  • Preparing proposals/presentations/bids, including developing pricing/strategic plans and proposed solutions/sales.
  • Researching/developing solutions with AT&T external partners, including design/engineering.
  • Researching customer business/industry to identify new sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Form strong relationships with property owners and developers by meeting them at their locations.
  • Develop and manage sales opportunities to meet sales targets.
  • Coordinate with Network and product teams on product and service availability.
  • Plan and manage events to drive sales of AT&T products, including budget management.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for assigned national customer portfolios, developing and executing account strategies that align customer objectives with Connected Communities growth priorities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of portfolio performance, customer priorities, contract obligations, competitive dynamics, and future growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with property owners, operators, and builder leadership teams to strengthen long-term partnerships and position AT&T as a strategic business partner.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), executive planning sessions, and customer engagement activities designed to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Support contract negotiations, marketing agreement renewals, and portfolio retention strategies while identifying opportunities to expand AT&T's presence within existing customer assets.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact customer satisfaction, contract renewals, or future growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Property Acquisition, Construction, and Care organizations to improve fiber penetration, subscriber growth, and overall portfolio performance.
  • Identify and execute strategies that drive growth across existing communities while improving the overall customer experience.
  • Act as the customer advocate within AT&T by coordinating resources across multiple organizations to resolve escalations, remove barriers, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and influence across organizations without direct reporting authority to deliver business outcomes for assigned portfolios.
