About The Position

TES Staffing is supporting a local Rochester company that helps make the transition of moving into senior living easier for older adults. This role involves sitting beside clients in their homes to help them sort, pack, and decide what to bring. You will also unpack and set up their new home to make it feel comfortable from the first night. The position requires compassion, patience, respect, and dependability.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Smartphone for communication and scheduling
Ability to lift and carry boxes and household items
Ability to remain active throughout a shift, including lifting, standing, and bending
Background check required

Responsibilities

Communicate with the client, the manager, and the receiving senior community
Measure furniture and review the layout with the client
Help sort and label items prior to the move
Oversee the movers and direct the team throughout the day
Bring supplies to and from the job as needed
Handle money, including distributing tips, collecting private sale money, and collecting lockboxes
Sweep and mop as needed
Conduct a final house check to ensure all items were collected and nothing is missed
