About The Position

As we continue our rapid national expansion, we are seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Processor to join our growing operations team. You'll work alongside experienced loan officers, underwriters, and operations professionals while supporting sophisticated residential transactions and high-profile clientele nationwide. Compensation packages are tailored accordingly and include both base salary and performance-based incentive opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ of recent residential mortgage processing experience
  • Demonstrated experience processing purchase transactions from application through closing
  • Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan products
  • Encompass experience required
  • Strong understanding of mortgage documentation standards and processing workflows
  • Working knowledge of mortgage compliance requirements, including TILA and RESPA
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Professional demeanor aligned with a high-touch client experience
  • Ability to perform successfully in an in-office, hybrid, or remote environment with clear accountability and performance expectations

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Non-QM processing experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage residential mortgage loan files from application through clear-to-close with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and execution
  • Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation in accordance with underwriting guidelines and investor requirements
  • Prepare complete and well-documented files for underwriting submission
  • Review disclosures for accuracy and compliance prior to delivery
  • Order, track, and manage third-party services including appraisals, title work, verifications, and supporting documentation
  • Clear underwriting conditions by obtaining required documentation and ensuring file completeness
  • Communicate loan status, outstanding items, and closing timelines with loan officers, underwriters, borrowers, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain organized pipelines and ensure service level expectations are consistently met
  • Ensure all files meet investor documentation standards, internal quality expectations, and closing readiness requirements
  • Assist with operational initiatives and special projects as needed in a collaborative team environment
  • Escalate structural, documentation, or guideline questions when appropriate
