About The Position

JetZero is developing a blended-wing body (BWB) aircraft that uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. We are seeking a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer to define and manage aircraft system architectures using MBSE methods. This role focuses on Part 25 aircraft development and requires experience applying MBSE across a wide range of aircraft systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 10-15 years’ experience on Part 25 aircraft programs
• Hands-on experience applying MBSE in an aircraft or complex systems environment
• Strong working knowledge of system architecture development practices
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Cameo, Teamcenter, or similar PLM/MBSE toolchains
• Experience modeling a variety of aircraft systems (avionics, propulsion, flight controls, ECS, etc.)
• Familiarity with ARP4754A and certification-driven systems engineering
• Experience in early-phase aircraft or advanced development programs

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system architectures using MBSE methodologies
• Create and manage system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
• Define functional, logical, and physical architectures for aircraft systems
• Collaborate with domain engineers to integrate requirements, interfaces, and behaviors
• Support requirements and configuration management in tools such as Teamcenter
• Ensure traceability between requirements, architectures, and verification artifacts
