Model-Based Systems Engineer

Booz Allen HamiltonIndian Head, MD

About The Position

As a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) on our team, you’ll perform trade studies and risk assessments and have the chance to shape mission and system architecture development processes by integrating System Modeling Language (SysML) with Cameo Systems Modeler. You’ll provide technical engineering techniques through problem definition, design, requirements analysis, systems analysis, development, and system-of-systems modeling to help the US Navy munition and energetic programs meet technical objectives. Your experience with MBSE tools, methodologies, performing analysis and interpretation from source documents, and analytic traceability to Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) is key, making you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution. In this role, you’ll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge mission architectures to transform and define the Navy of the future. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from a large community of engineers across the company and collaborate with fellow engineers, analysts, and Navy stakeholders to deliver world-class solutions to analyze mission threads, develop system models, assess capability gaps, and evaluate new technologies for integration into future force designs. Your engineering knowledge will expand and improve the US Navy capabilities to protect national security and enhance warfighter effectiveness. Your customers will trust you to not only design and develop these systems but also to develop them with advanced technological solutions. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like MBSE and systems engineering. Join us. The world can't wait.
