About The Position

This role serves as a team leader and senior technical team member responsible for the planning, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting complex new or revised processes, systems, or networks. The Senior Mobile App Developer will act as an acknowledged expert in technical specialties and/or mission-critical application systems, providing leadership in design, development, and application integration. This position ensures functional and technical designs meet customer requirements, translates business strategies into technology solutions, and provides a high degree of technical expertise and leadership. The role also involves assisting the Security team with audit controls, developing work plans, estimating projects, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy complex integrations between Workday and third-party systems using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, datasets, and transformations in Workday Prism Analytics to integrate data from diverse sources and support advanced reporting needs.
  • Configure Workday business processes, security roles, calculated fields, and custom objects to align with business requirements.
  • Create and maintain custom, advanced, and matrix reports using Workday Report Writer, and build interactive dashboards and Discovery Boards to deliver key business insights.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve technical issues within the Workday platform, providing ongoing production support and ensuring data integrity.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in Workday's semi-annual release cycles, including impact analysis, testing, and deployment of new features and functionalities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android) using React Native, Ionic, Swift, Kotlin, Java, and Objective-C.
  • Build and support backend services, APIs, and microservices using Node.js and modern web technologies.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture, design reviews, technology selection, and integration strategies.
  • Develop reusable components, shared libraries, and common frameworks to improve development efficiency.
  • Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, EventBridge, and CloudWatch.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
  • Develop robust integrations using REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging services.
  • Implement effective state management, concurrency handling, and performance optimization for mobile applications.
  • Design and deliver AI-powered features for web, mobile, and backend applications.
  • Integrate Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-enabled workflows using modern development frameworks and SDD practices.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy, governance, and Responsible AI standards.
  • Monitor and optimize AI solution performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Establish AI development standards, guidelines, and technical documentation.
  • Support and enhance existing web, iOS, and Android applications.
  • Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Monitor production health, resolve defects, and address user-impacting issues.
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps, cloud adoption efforts, and modernization initiatives.
