About The Position

Restoration 1 New Jersey is seeking an experienced Senior Mitigation Project Manager to oversee restoration projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proven restoration professional capable of securing jobs, scoping losses, managing projects, leading field teams, writing estimates, communicating with insurance adjusters and TPAs, and ensuring project approval and completion. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing water, fire, mold, and insurance-related mitigation projects.

Requirements

• Proven restoration professional
• Experience managing water, fire, mold, and insurance-related mitigation projects
• Ability to secure jobs, scope losses, manage projects, direct field teams, write estimates, communicate with insurance adjusters and TPAs, and drive files through approval and completion
• Comfortable walking into a loss, determining necessary actions, earning customer confidence, obtaining paperwork, building scope, directing production, writing estimates, working with adjusters, and completing projects
• Understanding of Xactimate
• Understanding of insurance and TPA world

Responsibilities

• Responding to new losses and opportunities
• Meeting with homeowners, property managers, agents, adjusters, and referral partners
• Securing signed authorizations and converting opportunities into active jobs
• Inspecting losses and developing the proper mitigation scope
• Creating the project plan and directing technicians and field crews
• Monitoring job progress, documentation, drying, equipment, and job quality
• Writing accurate and complete estimates in Xactimate
• Working with insurance adjusters and carriers to review scopes and obtain approvals
• Managing supplements and addressing discrepancies with carriers
• Working within TPA guidelines and programs
• Maintaining proper documentation and communication throughout the project
• Managing customer expectations from start to finish
• Keeping projects moving quickly while maintaining strong margins and customer service
• Coordinating with internal operations, reconstruction, accounting, and management teams
