About The Position

As the Senior Mission Manager, you will serve as Metrea’s senior on-site representative and primary liaison to mission partners, integrating directly within customer operational and intelligence environments to support the planning, coordination, and execution of mission activities. Acting as a trusted advisor to both external partners and internal leadership, you will facilitate operational synchronization between customer objectives and Metrea capabilities while ensuring effective communication and coordination across the broader enterprise. This role requires the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leaders, operational personnel, and technical teams across both government and industry organizations while representing Metrea in sensitive operational environments. Operating within a dynamic and evolving mission environment, the Senior Mission Manager will provide operational awareness, mission advocacy, and strategic coordination in support of ongoing and emerging activities, ensuring Metrea leadership remains informed of operational priorities, partner requirements, and developing opportunities. This position demands sound judgment, discretion, initiative, and the ability to operate effectively with limited oversight while supporting key strategic objectives and facilitating operational and technical progress across supported efforts in coordination with H/STO and Head/Electromagnetic & Cyber.

Requirements

Extensive leadership and operational experience within Special Operations and/or intelligence organizations.
Strong understanding of operational planning, intelligence integration, and support to all-domain operations.
Experience operating within sensitive or classified operational environments while coordinating across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, operators, and technical personnel.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities in dynamic mission environments.
Experience coordinating complex operational activities and translating mission requirements into actionable outcomes.
Strong understanding of enterprise collaboration and the integration of operational, technical, and strategic efforts across large organizations.
Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to maintain access to customer operational spaces.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 20+ years of military, Special Operations, ISR, intelligence, or Electronic Warfare experience.
Senior leadership experience supporting U.S. Government, Special Operations, ISR, or national security mission environments.
Strong understanding of DoD organizations, operational processes, and mission coordination within classified environments.
Experience supporting operational planning, customer engagement, requirements development, and mission execution.
Familiarity with ISR, SIGINT, Electronic Warfare (EW), communications, or related mission areas.
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills with the ability to operate effectively in collaborative environments.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including on short notice.
Valid Driver’s License.
DD214 reflecting Honorable Discharge, if prior military.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Clearance required at time of hire: Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
Position may require passing a government-administered background check.
Employment is contingent on meeting all clearance and adjudication requirements.

Nice To Haves

Senior military officer experience within U.S. Special Operations or the Intelligence Community.
Experience supporting capability development, operational innovation, or the integration of emerging technologies into mission environments.
Familiarity with Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), cyber-enabled operations, or ISR mission sets.
Experience supporting customer engagement, strategic partnerships, or business development activities within the defense or national security sector.

Responsibilities

Serve as Metrea’s primary on-site liaison and representative within customer operational and intelligence environments.
Coordinate daily mission planning, operational synchronization, and information flow between mission partners and Metrea leadership.
Maintain operational awareness of ongoing and emerging activities while ensuring relevant stakeholders across STO and EM&C remain informed.
Build and sustain trusted relationships with customer leadership, operational personnel, intelligence professionals, and enterprise teammates.
Support the development and integration of operational methodologies, frameworks, and processes that improve mission execution and coordination.
Collaborate across STO, EM&C, and the broader Metrea enterprise to support “solutioning” efforts and the development of integrated operational capabilities.
Provide operational insight and mission advocacy in support of technical development, capability maturation, and strategic planning efforts.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Contracts, Legal, and Compliance teams, to support mission requirements and organizational objectives.
Identify operational gaps, emerging requirements, and areas for organizational growth while supporting capability and talent development efforts.
Support customer engagement, strategic relationship management, and occasional business development activities through travel and face-to-face interaction.
