About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Military Operations Analyst to support our Peterson SFB location in Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves providing the full spectrum of daily operational support to USASMDC and JTF-Gold IJSTO operations. The analyst will advise IJSTO Leads on developing current and future IJSTO planning and operational mechanisms that envelop coordination requirements as the Army service component command (ASCC) to USSPACECOM. The position requires applying deliberate and crisis action planning skill sets to JTF-Gold and USASMDC to support USSPACECOM planning, and reviewing, analyzing, and supporting ongoing Army IJSTO Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and Mission Analysis. Additionally, the role involves advising USASMDC in developing supporting Operations Plans (OPLAN) / Contingency Plans (CONPLAN), with specific attention to the IJSTO annexes. The analyst will monitor current Department of Defense (DoD), Service, Joint, USSTRATCOM & USSPACECOM IJSTO organizational missions, functions, structures, and command relationships for implementation into USASMDC IJSTO, and examine future operational capabilities and doctrinal requirements to support Army and Joint IJSTO planning and execution efforts. The role also includes attending IJSTO related meetings, potentially representing USASMDC positions at USSPACECOM, Army, and other joint force related meetings. A key responsibility is to develop, implement, and maintain a Physical and Facility Security Program in accordance with Joint Staff, National Security Agency (NSA), DoD, Army, and USSPACECOM security standards, including access controls, alarm systems, badging, sensors, communication security (COMSEC), sensitive items security measures, and security force integration. The analyst will also develop, maintain, coordinate, and implement Alternative Compensatory Control Measure (ACCM) policy and procedure, and provide support for Training Program Development, Coordination, and Implementation.

Requirements

  • Space, JOPES/APEX, Staffing, MDMP, Military planning and operations experience
  • Understand SSC, CCMD, DOD, inter-agency coordination mechanisms
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret / SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
