Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking a Sr Military Analyst to support the Field Force Integration Division (FFID) within the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE) G-5 Directorate. Certification Preferred: PMP certification Clearance Requirement : Secret Scope: The Senior Military Analyst will serve as a principal advisor and subject‑matter expert on force development, capability integration, and Army modernization. This role leads complex analytical efforts, synchronizes modernization activities across the Army enterprise, and provides senior‑level decision support to shape the future force. The Senior Military Analyst will ensure new capabilities, formations, and concepts are feasible, sustainable, and fully integrated across DOTMLPF‑P domains.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 20 years of experience as a Senior Planner/Military Analyst in Army Aviation. Expertise may come from rotary wing, fixed wing, or unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations.
  • Must be an energetic collaborator who can integrate people from different teams and echelons, clearly articulate project outcomes, track deliverables and project status, and brief on overall project status.
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Clearance Requirement : Secret

Nice To Haves

  • Experience stemming from service at the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE), Combined Arms Center (CAC), Training & Doctrine Command (TRADOC), or Army Futures Command (AFC) is preferred.
  • Experience with Fielded Force Integration and experience executing DOTMLPF-P integration.
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification is preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integration efforts for new systems, formations, and modernization initiatives across the Army.
  • Conduct and oversee DOTMLPF‑P assessments to identify required changes and integration impacts.
  • Provide expert recommendations to ensure capabilities are fieldable, sustainable, and aligned with Army priorities.
  • Guide development and refinement of force structure documents (TOEs, MTOEs, organizational designs).
  • Evaluate proposed organizational changes for operational feasibility, readiness impacts, and resource requirements.
  • Lead modeling, wargaming, and COA analysis to validate force design decisions.
  • Track modernization timelines, fielding schedules, and integration milestones to ensure enterprise alignment.
  • Identify friction points and develop mitigation strategies to maintain synchronization.
  • Conduct high‑level assessments of how new capabilities affect readiness, training pipelines, sustainment, and operational employment.
  • Analyze second‑ and third‑order effects of modernization decisions and provide risk‑based recommendations.
  • Ensure integration plans support operational requirements and long-term force development goals.
  • Prepare and deliver decision briefs, white papers, information papers, and integration assessments for senior leaders.
  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations that influence Army‑wide modernization decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on force development, capability integration, and modernization impacts.
