About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to support all aspects of systems and networking, with a primary focus on leading Microsoft Azure cloud platform administration and engineering operations within the IT Infrastructure and Operations area. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure and AWS cloud platforms, cloud architecture, security, networking, administration, and hybrid cloud environments. This role will also be responsible for leading technical discussions, supporting cloud security, privacy and compliance decisions, and assisting with the migration of on-premises applications and services to Azure. The position will work closely with architects and engineering teams and will provide technical leadership and mentoring while staying current with developments across Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Azure – 5+ Years
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including: Security, Firewalls, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server and SQL DB, Load Balancers
  • AWS – 5+ Years
  • AWS Cloud Experience: Architectural Knowledge, Administration, Resource Allocation, Security, Network Connectivity
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent. Equivalent years of experience can be substituted for formal education (5+ years’ experience).

Responsibilities

  • Lead Azure system administration and engineering operations within IT Infrastructure and Operations.
  • Develop architecture and participate in technical discussions related to cloud security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Support migration of on-premises applications and services to Azure.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to architects and engineering staff.
  • Support Azure infrastructure, security, networking, and cloud operations.
  • Contribute to cloud architecture and technical decision-making.
  • Support operational activities within hybrid cloud environments.
  • Stay up to date with technical developments related to Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms.
