About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect for a 4-month contract to lead and personally execute critical M365 initiatives across a multi-location enterprise. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role for a seasoned professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to configure, migrate, and optimize enterprise cloud environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of total IT experience with 5–7+ years dedicated to M365 architecture and hands-on execution.
- Recent, expert-level experience personally configuring Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, and PowerShell automation.
- Proven success implementing Conditional Access, MFA, device compliance, and Zero Trust principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex M365 issues independently.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, Copilot, and Power Platform.
- Microsoft Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert or Cybersecurity Architect Expert.
- Experience managing hybrid Active Directory in a multi-site enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead and primary implementation resource for enterprise M365 environments.
- Personally manage tenant optimizations, migrations, security enhancements, and identity management initiatives.
- Develop governance standards, conditional access strategies, and compliance controls.
- Create technical architecture diagrams and operational procedures while providing knowledge transfer to internal IT staff.
