This Senior Methods Engineer position in Seymour, IN is responsible for developing and designing automotive lighting assembly equipment, preparing and implementing production processes for automotive lighting products (both new and modified), minimizing costs, adhering to budgets, ensuring timely project completion, and achieving quality objectives. The role also involves mentoring junior Methods Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or closely-related
• 4 years of experience in a Methods or Process Engineering role for automotive lighting
• Designing automated assembly equipment
• Developing engineering processes for automotive lightning
• Setting up & tuning photometric aiming, plastic welding technologies & gluing equipment
• Developing equipment from specifications to industrialization & validation
• Using CAD & GD&T

Responsibilities
