Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field required.
4+ years relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

Provides a diversified range of technical services to our internal and external customers supporting the attainment of Company and division goals.
Responsible for making disposition of referred, non-conforming and off-standard material, including but not limited to RMRs and customer claims.
Demonstrates the ability to provide metallurgical process support to production processes.
Demonstrates willingness to solve problems in a Titanium manufacturing environment where both data analysis and metallurgical knowledge is required.
Demonstrates ability to provide training and education to customers.
May provide support, leadership, and guidance to peers, customers, and managers in key projects.
Applies statistical methods to solve problems and design experiments.
Assists in the use of SPC, six-sigma and/or BPI tools to detect project inefficiencies.
Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
