About The Position

Chewy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Merchandising Analytics Manager in Bellevue, WA. This full-time role focuses on leading the development of measurement frameworks for assortment, promotion effectiveness, financial performance, and customer experience metrics. The position involves driving the adoption of new datasets, identifying opportunities and risks, delivering data-driven insights, and managing cross-functional initiatives for data product development and accountability across International operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Math, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study and 6 years of experience required as a Business Intelligence Analyst, or related position/occupation.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Math, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study and 4 years of experience required as a Business Intelligence Analyst, or related position/occupation.
  • Experience must include 4 years analyzing data and delivering business insights.
  • Experience must 3 years managing analysts or data engineers.
  • Translating analysis into business actions
  • Advance Excel skills, including data connections, complex formulas, and pivot tables
  • Data visualization skills using software, such as Tableau or complementary visualization tools
  • SQL
  • Interpreting business metrics, executing complex analyses, and connecting multiple data sources to explain business performance
  • Independently managing cross-functional projects
  • Ecommerce pricing, assortment, fulfillment, and inventory management strategies
  • Financial KPIs, P&L statement, and assortment management metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of best-in-class measurement frameworks for evaluating assortment, promotions effectiveness, improving financial performance and customer experience metrics.
  • Drive adoption of newly available datasets into use through integration into different analyses.
  • Increase visibility of opportunities and risks through proactive identification and communication to business partners.
  • Deliver clear data driven insights in both verbal and written form.
  • Program manage cross-functional initiatives which require development of data products and driving accountability across International.
