About The Position

The Senior MEP Manager is responsible for field operations on the project(s) assigned in order to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project in regard to Mechanical and Electrical. The MEP Manager directly supervises MEP trades, including review of installation of systems in the field. This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication and client service skills.

Requirements

Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
Knowledge of Manhattan document control and scheduling software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic math/accounting skills
Functions effectively as part of a team
Dependability
Ability to understand and follow directions
Time management skills and organizational skills
Ability to read drawings and specifications
Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality
Four years of Construction Science/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

BIM360 experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Define the acronym MOPS at its first use – Method Of Procedures
Correspond and coordinate with Utility providers and Authorities Having Jurisdiction
Visit manufacturers and be present for MEP equipment Factory and Site witness testing.
Train and mentor other MEP
Lead the development of project-level programs
Assist with the development of corporate-level best practices and initiatives
Project-level leadership or engagement with the client and client SMEs
Other duties as assigned
