About The Position

The Senior Medical Director is a clinical executive and member of the organizational leadership team. The position is responsible for setting the overall clinical direction of the house call practice and Medicare GUIDE dementia care program, ensuring that care delivery aligns with the organization's mission, value-based strategy, and growth objectives. The Senior Medical Director ensures clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, evidence-based practice standards, and measurable performance outcomes. They work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, sharing accountability for quality, growth, financial sustainability, and regulatory compliance. This position will be approximately 60% patient care and 40% leadership.

Requirements

  • North Carolina medical license
  • DEA
  • Board Certification, relevant speciality
  • 5+ years related clinical experience

Responsibilities

  • establish and revise documentation standards supporting billing integrity and compliance
  • participate in the house calls practice on-call rotation
  • make clinical decisions in partnership with other leaders
