Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production, Communications, or a related area.
- Six years of experience in television, stage production, or a related area.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects software.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Provide AV and technical support to CV CME courses and events, including shipping gear.
- Ensure courses meet the highest standards set by Mayo Clinic and the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine during live events.
- Manage presentations, audio mixing, webcasting, and audience response systems during live events.
- Demonstrate high-level troubleshooting abilities under stressful situations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Utilize knowledge of video switching, audio mixing, and lighting techniques.
- Support live in-person hybrid education courses (80% of the role).
- Set up and negotiate technical rental fees prior to events.
- Work closely with the Meeting Specialist and Coordinator.
- Create audience response or webinar elements (links, graphics, QR codes) for distribution and promotion.
- Inventory and inspect audio-visual gear and suggest upgrades or replacements.
- Potentially fill roles as a video producer, camera operator, and director, including pre-production, directing, technical directing of in-studio, webinars, and on-location events, and post-production.
- Provide video camera setup and operation for surgical, patient, or specialty recordings.
- Support in-studio technical directing (20% of the role).
- Assist the CV Media Production Editor with the preparation of echocardiography images for events or written materials.
- Lead the creation of echocardiography files for other institutions or patients.
- Assist with other responsibilities as determined by manager and workload.
- Adhere to the Mayo Clinic Confidentiality policy.
- Work extended hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with hours varying to meet job requirements.
- Travel as required.
- Work in high pressure and stressful situations.
