We are seeking a Senior Media Planner/Buyer to join our team. This role involves leading media planning and buying for various agency clients, focusing on both awareness and conversion campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a proven history of successful client presentations, advanced expertise in both offline and digital media planning and buying, resourcefulness, the capacity to think quickly, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Agency experience working in highly collaborative, integrated teams.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of managing paid media across both offline (OOH, print, TV & Radio) and digital media channels, focusing on performance.
  • Direct experience translating media performance into actionable insights.
  • Skilled at presenting recommendations, leveraging audience insights, reporting and optimization recommendations directly to clients.
  • Digital media experience including Display, Programmatic, Paid Social, Paid Search, Digital Video, Digital, and Audio.
  • Experience working directly in a DSP (Basis preferred).
  • Skilled in the use of media planning systems (i.e., Strata) and third-party ad servers (DCM).
  • Strong aptitude in math.
  • Experienced in building and analyzing MRI/Simmons data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with exceptional Excel skills (i.e., a strong command of pivot tables and creating compelling presentations in PowerPoint).
  • Critical thinker leveraging data to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Strong work ethic demonstrated through consistent follow-through, proactive ownership of assignments, reliable deadline management, careful attention to detail, and a willingness to step in when priorities shift.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including clear and responsive communication, active listening, collaborative problem-solving, adaptability, and the ability to build trust with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, yet works well in a team environment.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
  • Pride in quality of work and an eagerness for feedback on how to improve/develop your skill set.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive, professional relationships across agency departments and key day-to-day clients.
  • Report on campaign metrics routinely and recommend optimizing the media mix, tactics, and targeting.
  • Produce, analyze, and present campaign wrap-up reports.
  • Develop and present optimization strategies.
  • Work closely with the paid media team to craft custom media plans.
  • Develop and maintain media workflows and timelines for all projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships and stay informed on the latest media innovations.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance in all RFPs and negotiations to ensure recommended tactics, partners, and programs deliver against stated goals.
  • Oversee client billings and vendor invoices.
  • Ongoing management of client budgets and flowcharts.
  • Closely track media investments and reconcile monthly billing.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for junior staff and contribute to their development.
