About The Position

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world-class service, repair and re-manufacturing in the areas of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components for various industries. The position will require the ability to trouble shoot and repair all major brands of gearboxes and electric motors. Must be able to work first shift. May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate. Computer skills required (word, excel, email).

Requirements

• Must have experience with mechanical equipment/repairs.
• Must own basic hand tools.
• Must be well organized and high level of attention to detail.
• Must have basic understanding of mechanical prints.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Root cause analysis training a plus.
• Overhead crane training

Responsibilities

• Repair all major brands of gearboxes.
• Able to repair and test electric motors.
• Able to trouble shoot and properly diagnose failures of electric motor.
• Able to remove and install bearings.
• Able to use calibers and micrometers
• Able to use multimeter
• Able to visually inspect gears and determine pass/fail
