About The Position

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world-class service, repair and re-manufacturing in the areas of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components for various industries. The position will require the ability to troubleshoot and repair all major brands of gearboxes and electric motors. This is a first shift position, and overtime may be required as business needs dictate. Computer skills in Word, Excel, and email are necessary.

Requirements

• Experience with mechanical equipment/repairs.
• Own basic hand tools.
• Well organized with a high level of attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of mechanical prints.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Computer skills (word, excel, email).

Responsibilities

• Repair all major brands of gearboxes.
• Repair and test electric motors.
• Troubleshoot and properly diagnose failures of electric motors.
• Remove and install bearings.
• Use calibers and micrometers.
• Use multimeter.
• Visually inspect gears and determine pass/fail.
