About The Position

We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join our team. We are a small team so you will have ownership of mission critical systems, but we need someone who thrives on solving the problems that we are sure to encounter along the way. We are seeking a creative problem solver who possesses an intuitive grasp of physics and engineering fundamentals, is equally comfortable hacking together a prototype as they are troubleshooting issues that come up in the field. We need someone who is excited about solving the tough engineering challenges required to innovate with our team.

Requirements

Vehicle Design Experience
End-to-End Builder: Taken complex mechanical systems from a blank sheet through to deployment
Seattle-Based/Willing to Move
5+ Years Getting Stuff Done: Built real things that really work
Fast Prototyper: Know how to test a concept in days, not months
Scrappy as Hell: Can build amazing things with limited resources
Direct Communicator: Speak up when something's wrong and can explain complex ideas simply
Mission-Driven: Care about bringing the future of sustainable farming to life
