About The Position

Join LTTS as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and play a critical role in driving product innovation and cost optimization for Refrigeration Truck and Trailer Units. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software.
• Experience with FEA, vibrational, and fatigue analysis.
• Strong documentation and technical reporting abilities.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with refrigeration or automotive product development.
• Familiarity with TRB/QRB governance processes.
• Advanced knowledge in material optimization and alternate part sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and engineering support for product development and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement cost-saving opportunities across products, components, and assemblies.
• Develop, modify, and optimize 3D models, CAD designs, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Perform advanced CAE analysis, including FEA structural, vibrational, and fatigue assessments.
• Manage and execute Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), ensuring thorough analysis, documentation, and closure.
• Propose and implement cost-optimized design changes while maintaining product quality and functionality.
• Conduct design rationalization, introduce alternate parts, and optimize material usage.
• Analyze and validate savings potential, supporting governance reviews and stakeholder alignment.
• Prepare technical documentation, design change summaries, and management presentations.
• Participate in regular project reviews and stakeholder meetings, ensuring timely project follow-ups and closures.
