Senior Mechanical Engineer

Anduril•Hudson, NH
•Onsite

About The Position

Anduril’s Imaging business line designs and builds imaging systems for security challenges. Advanced Infrared Solutions, based in Hudson, New Hampshire, designs and manufactures cooled infrared cameras and Integrated Dewar Cooler Assemblies (IDCAs) for Anduril Imaging products and external customers in the defense, space, and commercial industrial sectors. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead mechanical development and transition to production of next-generation infrared opto-mechanical systems. The work involves precision alignment, extreme cleanliness, and disciplined engineering. The engineer will own hardware from concept through real-world use, develop infrared sensors, build and test prototypes, support customer demonstrations, and help bring successful projects into production. The role also includes defining system architecture, executing opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical designs, mentoring junior engineers, leading small teams, and managing projects and budgets. Travel to test sites may be required.
