About The Position

This role is for a Senior Mechanical Engineer on the Completions & Wellbore Intervention Team. The team is a leader in well construction and production, focusing on innovative physical and digital solutions to improve efficiency and production. The Completions Team partners with on-site operators and customers to provide support and guidance to maximize well capacity and value. The Senior Engineer's job duties will primarily focus on the Engineer-To-Order business, involving design modifications on new and existing equipment to meet customer requests or field specifications. This role is responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions, and systems, requiring a comprehensive understanding of complex technical concepts and principles within their functional area, as well as strong knowledge of intersecting technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science with 10+ years relevant experience in Operations and/or Engineering environment; OR Master's degree in Engineering or Science with 5+ years of relevant experience in Operations or Engineering environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Liner Hangers.
  • Experience in design and testing of Completions products.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability.
  • Must be action oriented, ethical in value, and customer focused with a drive for results.
  • Sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, and manage and measure work.
  • Experience in SAP and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

  • Executes the design, analysis, and/or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
  • Collaborates with the design team to develop engineering designs that fit the needs of the client and ensures engineering deliverables are completed timely.
  • Resolves problems through the application of acquired expertise based upon precedents.
  • Customizes projects to client needs.
  • Conveys technical information both to clients and to colleagues out of other functions.
  • Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
