About The Position

As a 100% employee-owned company, we’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the Army Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office, helping deliver next-generation munitions and weapon system capabilities to the Warfighter. This position is contingent on funding with an expected start date of July/August 2026.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • Strong background in mechanical design, development, and system-level testing
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX)
  • Experience developing ASME-compliant engineering drawings (Y14.100)
  • Ability to derive engineering requirements and support system-level design decisions
  • Proven ability to execute in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
  • U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Army missile or munitions systems
  • Background in test & evaluation (developmental and/or operational)
  • Experience with structural, thermal, or fluid analysis
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or MathCAD
  • Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems
  • Hands-on assembly, integration, or test experience
  • Strong communicator with experience in technical design reviews
  • Active Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead and influence test & evaluation (T&E) strategy, planning, and execution across advanced munitions systems
  • Develop and assess T&E master plans, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and program objectives
  • Design, analyze, and evaluate mechanical systems, components, and test configurations
  • Drive test planning, execution, and reporting, including resource allocation, scheduling, and data dissemination
  • Analyze test data and deliver clear, actionable recommendations for system improvements and follow-on testing
  • Support and lead T&E Working-level IPTs (WIPTs), technical reviews, and strategy discussions
  • Evaluate system performance across propulsion, warheads, seekers, structures, and integration with air, ground, and naval platforms
  • Contribute to system upgrades, technology insertion, and advanced weapon concepts
  • Work across the full ecosystem—mechanical design, integration, testing, and fielded system performance
