About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, managing, and overseeing projects from prototype development to production scaling and manufacturing support. You will lead design reviews, develop validation testing procedures, generate engineering documentation, work with suppliers, participate in failure analysis, and lead certification testing. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of mechanical design and project experience
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related degree
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Experience in creating drawings for manufacturing, customers, prototypes, etc.
Project management experience bringing products to market
Customer facing communication with design and quality engineering

Nice To Haves

Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, construction, agriculture, or industrial machinery industries
Familiarity with electronics lab equipment and reading detailed electrical schematics
Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems
Familiarity with machining, manufacturing, and automation systems
Familiarity with brushless DC motor control
Familiarity with UL, ISO, and similar standards

Responsibilities

Design, manage, and oversee projects including development of prototypes, scaling products to production, and providing manufacturing support
Lead design reviews for new product development
Develop and perform validation testing procedures on mechanical and electronic systems
Generate engineering documentation for all stages of product development
Work with suppliers to purchase and qualify components
Participate in failure analysis and root cause determination
Lead certification testing (UL, CE, etc.)
