About The Position

From expanding aviation hubs to cutting-edge healthcare and commercial developments, our Dallas team is at the center of some of the region’s most exciting projects. We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) who is ready to step into a leadership role, drive complex projects, and help grow our presence in one of the fastest-growing markets in the country. In this role, you’ll operate as both a technical expert and project leader, with the autonomy to make decisions and the support of a strong national team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (accredited program)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing
  • 10+ years of MEP design experience, including large or multiple mid-sized projects; 12+ years of experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of FBC/IBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA codes
  • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff
  • Experience reviewing technical work for quality and accuracy
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills with a client-focused mindset
  • Experience in building and site design
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Due to federal contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with business development and client engagement in the Dallas market
  • Ability to obtain multi-state licensure (NCEES certification a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex mechanical (MEP) projects across Dallas and beyond
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape project scope and solutions
  • Help manage projects on key accounts across the country.
  • Apply advanced engineering concepts to solve complex, real-world challenges
  • Oversee development of plans, specifications, and construction documents
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers in a fully integrated design environment
  • Supervise, mentor and guide junior engineers, elevating team performance
  • Conduct quality control reviews to ensure technical excellence
  • Support construction administration, including field observations
  • Contribute to client development, proposals, and presentations as the Dallas team continues to grow
