As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for contributing to and supporting a team of Engineers and Designers to deliver high-quality designs for technically challenging and rewarding projects. We expose our designers to a variety of complex projects, arming them with the experience, resources, and support to succeed. As a mid-market firm with a close-knit culture, we focus on the delivery of high-quality engineering and design services for notable industry-leading clients in the Life Sciences, Biotech, and Pharmaceutical industries.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible mechanical design experience, including the development of full design packages for technically complex building systems.
  • Successful candidates will be proficient with the latest version of REVIT 3D, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of mechanical design scope from conceptual layout through construction documents, with minimal oversight.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Performing Field Surveys
  • Develop Conceptual Designs and layouts with the support of an engineer for the following:
  • Ductwork Distribution Systems
  • Piping Distribution Systems
  • Airflow and Piping Diagrams
  • Pressurization Plans
  • General Equipment Arrangement Plans
  • Development of Details, Schedules, Sections, and Elevations
  • Coordinating with other Discipline Engineers, Architects, and Contractors.
  • Review Ductwork and Piping Shop Drawings
