About The Position

We were founded in 1918 as Young & Franklin Tool Works on Franklin Street in Syracuse, but we’ve come a long way since then! Our product lines are low volume, high mix, and very tight tolerances. We manufacture, assemble and test valves and actuators for the Aerospace and Power Generation markets. Our 120,000 square foot facility houses R&D, Design Engineering, Assembly & Test, and an 80,000 square foot Machining Operation. We regularly invest in new machines but recently outdid ourselves investing in 5 new machines in 18 months! We’re part of the TransDigm Group (NYSE: TDG), one of the world’s leading suppliers of highly engineered components for virtually all aerospace applications, helping us continually invest in new products and technology.
