About The Position

Triangle Services, a family-owned business with over sixty years of experience, provides printing, facilities, and aviation management services. Our division, Century Direct Solutions, located in Islandia, NY, specializes in data management, data processing, and personalized printing. We are seeking a Senior Mechanic to join our team. The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for setting up and maintaining all equipment under their supervision, ensuring it is in proper working order. This role also involves assisting in other areas of equipment or maintenance throughout the plant.

Requirements

Experience in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and verify jobs according to the worksheet.
Zero machines at the time of each setup with at minimum of 1000 pcs.
Obtain approval from the customer service representative when the job is set up.
Maintain all equipment responsible for in perfect working order, including cleaning, lubrication, and repairs.
Troubleshoot all machines for which they are responsible.
Answer operator questions pertaining to the equipment being worked on.
Work in other areas concerning maintenance of equipment and building not related to their primary job function.
Keep their work area clean.
Check back with operators who have had earlier problems to ensure they are alright.
Anticipate any needs an operator may have.
