About The Position

Direct and monitor activities within multiple storerooms, efficiently using storeroom and storage-area space and equipment to meet established priorities and completion dates. Handle a variety of materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous materials, finished and purchased parts, tools and supplies, bulk oils, paints, explosives, bottled gases, and containers. Follow established material-handling and storage procedures, identify and process materials that are damaged or in poor condition or improperly packaged or stored, and comply with safety rules. Receive assignments and instructions from supervision and perform work of equal or lower skill as required. This is a union position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily.
• Ability to operate a computer terminal.
• Ability to work independently with little direction.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

• SAP experience.
• Warehouse inventory experience.
• Forklift certification.
