About The Position

Material Handlers ensure assigned areas have the materials needed to complete work orders. They review work schedules to ensure production lines are adequately supplied and move completed pallets from assigned areas. They may also assist with production processes in their assigned area. The role uses equipment including a computer, RF unit, staple gun, pallet jack, wrapper, bander, band-cutter knife, and forklift, as well as foot and hand controls. Safety glasses and steel-toe shoes are listed as PPE; gloves and hearing protection are available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned areas are supplied with materials needed to complete work orders.
• Review work schedules to ensure lines are adequately supplied.
• Move completed pallets from assigned areas.
• May assist with production processes in the assigned area.
