About The Position

Lightspeed is looking for a Senior Marketing Project Manager to support our global marketing portfolio. This is a senior individual contributor role for an experienced project leader who thrives in complexity, brings structure to ambiguity, and can confidently drive execution across high-impact marketing initiatives. Reporting into the Marketing PMO, you will lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional projects across marketing - with a strong focus on product launches, alongside campaigns, lifecycle marketing initiatives, and key brand moments. You will partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to translate business priorities into clear plans and successful execution. One quarter, you may be leading a global launch for one of our core POS or Financial Services products - coordinating timelines across Product Marketing, Creative, Content, Legal, and regional marketing teams. Another, you may be driving a high-priority campaign or enabling a key brand moment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building clarity in fast-moving environments, is energized by solving complex delivery challenges, and wants to help shape how great marketing work gets done. You’ll be joining a team actively evolving how marketing operates, making this a great opportunity for someone excited to raise the bar while staying grounded in execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and tight timelines.
  • Experience supporting product launches, campaigns, or large-scale marketing initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution quality.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and navigating matrixed organizations.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, delivery frameworks, and tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.

  • Translate high-level ideas into clear, actionable project plans with defined scope, timelines, owners, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent initiatives - balancing multiple high-priority, cross-functional projects alongside smaller tactical workstreams while maintaining clarity, momentum, and alignment.
  • Anticipate risks, dependencies, and competing priorities early, proactively recommending solutions and trade-offs to keep work moving forward.
  • Serve as the connective tissue across teams, ensuring priorities stay aligned and projects move efficiently from planning through execution.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, workback schedules, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and execution readiness plans.
  • Keep complex projects moving by proactively driving accountability, facilitating decisions, and removing blockers.
  • Lead project forums, stakeholder meetings, and status updates with confidence and clarity - tailoring communication appropriately for working teams, senior leaders, and executives.
  • Ensure projects are well organized, documented, and effectively managed through established tools and workflows (e.g., Jira, Monday.com, project trackers).
  • Track progress against milestones, surface issues early, and help teams navigate ambiguity without losing momentum.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Product Marketing, Brand, Creative, Content, Legal, regional teams, and other cross-functional partners to drive successful delivery.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders up to the Senior Director and VP level, acting as a trusted partner in planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Facilitate alignment across global teams operating across different time zones, business priorities, and market needs.
