About The Position

Vestwell is seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Partner to lead marketing analytics and reporting. This role will collaborate with Data, Product, and Revenue Technology teams to consolidate data from Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce into a unified reporting view. The partner will build dashboards to measure marketing performance and inform decision-making. Additionally, this role will manage marketing attributes, which are crucial for customer segmentation and targeted campaigns, acting as the marketing representative in discussions about attribute definitions and changes with Product and Engineering. This is a hands-on position focused on analytics and reporting, requiring strong data judgment, practical dashboard-building skills, an understanding of system interconnections, and the ability to translate stakeholder needs into actionable reports.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, business intelligence, or a similar data-focused role.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Google Analytics and HubSpot reporting, including building, validating, and explaining reports.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce reporting and data structures, with the ability to partner with Revenue Technology.
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting frameworks in a business intelligence or data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Sigma, Looker).
  • Experience reconciling data from multiple systems, documenting metric definitions, identifying data-quality issues, and explaining data limitations.
  • Experience using customer attributes, segments, or product data to support targeted marketing campaigns and measurement.
  • Strong analytical judgment and ability to translate business questions into clear data requirements, useful reports, and actionable findings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across Marketing, Data, Revenue Technology, Product, and Engineering teams, including stakeholders with different technical backgrounds.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with attention to accuracy, consistency, and follow-through.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, analytics, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services, technology, or another regulated industry.
  • Relevant Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or business intelligence certifications.
  • Familiarity with product or behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Pendo).
  • Basic familiarity with SQL, data warehouses, or data integration concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Own marketing analytics and reporting, serving as the primary contact for marketing performance data, dashboards, recurring reports, and measurement inquiries.
  • Establish clear metric definitions and reporting standards for consistent performance tracking across teams.
  • Partner with Data and Revenue Technology to map pre and post-sale data across Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce, determining how these sources interact, identifying data gaps, and creating a reliable customer journey reporting view.
  • Build and maintain practical dashboards and reports that track initiatives, campaign performance, funnel movement, and business outcomes, validating data and adapting reports as needs evolve.
  • Own marketing attributes, maintaining Marketing's understanding of customer attributes used for segmentation and targeting, and acting as Marketing's liaison for attribute definition changes with Product and Engineering.
  • Enable targeted campaigns by assisting marketing teams in identifying customer groupings and applying attributes to campaign design, audience selection, personalization, and performance analysis, ensuring segments are based on reliable data.
  • Measure the marketing funnel by connecting upper-funnel activity and pre-sale engagement to lead progression, sales outcomes, and post-sale signals, developing clear reporting with documented data and attribution limitations.
  • Coordinate across Marketing, Data, Revenue Technology, Product, and Engineering teams to define requirements, resolve data questions, prioritize work, and communicate findings effectively to diverse technical backgrounds.
