About The Position

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive B2B industrial marketing strategy that highlights Delta ModTech’s engineering excellence, problem‑solving capabilities, and advanced product portfolio. This role is a senior individual‑contributor and people‑management position. The Senior Marketing Manager will build and scale a high‑impact marketing function spanning brand, demand generation, digital marketing, product marketing, and sales enablement. This role partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Service, and the leadership team to strengthen market visibility, increase qualified pipeline, and clearly position Delta ModTech as a premium provider of capital equipment solutions.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably in industrial automation, capital equipment, advanced manufacturing, or technically complex environments.
  • Proven experience building or scaling a marketing function within a mid‑size organization.
  • Strong background in long‑cycle, multi‑stakeholder B2B demand generation and product marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear market messaging.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using marketing KPIs, dashboards, and ROI measurement.
  • Collaborative leadership style aligned with a values‑driven, family‑owned company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi‑year marketing strategy aligned with Delta ModTech’s growth objectives across medical devices, battery manufacturing, and advanced packaging.
  • Conduct market segmentation, competitive analysis, and customer research to identify priority verticals and create targeted go‑to‑market plans.
  • Support new market expansion initiatives, including European growth and emerging technologies.
  • Strengthen and evolve Delta ModTech’s brand to reflect its converting and coating capabilities while maintaining alignment with company values and heritage.
  • Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, compelling value propositions and technical narratives.
  • Lead the creation of thought leadership content including white papers, case studies, technical articles, conference materials, and trade media engagement.
  • Partner with internal subject‑matter experts to amplify engineering and technology leadership externally.
  • Own digital marketing strategy, including website performance, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, marketing automation, and analytics.
  • Build and manage multi‑channel campaigns that support long, complex sales cycles and multiple buying personas.
  • Collaborate with Sales on account‑based marketing approaches for strategic accounts.
  • Partner closely with Sales to align messaging, lead qualification criteria, and funnel expectations.
  • Develop high‑quality sales enablement tools such as product collateral, presentations, ROI tools, and competitive positioning resources.
  • Support shared accountability for pipeline growth through clear metrics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Service and R&D to gather customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Build and maintain customer reference and advocacy programs to support credibility in long sales cycles.
  • Support post‑acquisition marketing integration, branding, and communications as needed.
  • Lead and develop a growing marketing team and/or agency partners across content, digital, and product marketing.
  • Establish scalable marketing processes, systems, and tools, including CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Define KPIs and reporting frameworks to demonstrate marketing’s impact on growth and revenue.
  • Remove barriers that slow down engineering productivity or create unnecessary friction.
  • Promote a “scrappy but disciplined” approach—focused on value, not bureaucracy.
  • Encourage critical thinking and challenge processes that do not add value.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and healthy tension between engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.
