About The Position

Sophos is seeking a seasoned events professional to lead its global event strategy. This role will encompass everything from major tradeshows and internal sales summits to the systems that enable regional teams to execute consistently. The objective is to set the standard for Sophos's presence, ensuring every customer, partner, prospect, and community experience is on-brand, operationally sound, and memorable. AI fluency is a fundamental requirement for this position.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in B2B event management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a global or multi-regional scope.
  • Experience owning major tradeshow presence: booth strategy, build, logistics, and activation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable systems and toolkits.
  • Strong vendor and agency management skills.
  • Proficiency using AI tools for planning, content development, and operational efficiency.
  • Sharp communicator comfortable with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction where the position is posted, without requiring employer sponsorship.

  • Background in cybersecurity or enterprise technology.
  • Experience with channel or partner-facing event formats.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution for major global events such as Black Hat, RSA, Gartner, and it-sa, collaborating with field marketing teams.
  • Own booth strategy, messaging hierarchy, and brand environment for key events.
  • Coordinate with design, product marketing, and field sales teams for event execution.
  • Drive planning and execution for internal and partner events like Sales Kickoff (SKO) and President’s Club.
  • Align branding, messaging, content production, and logistics for internal and partner events.
  • Manage global and regional formats, including hybrid event delivery.
  • Build a tiered library of pre-defined event kits for regional and field teams to ensure consistent execution.
  • Define booth aesthetics, activations, swag, and messaging for various event types and scales.
  • Define and govern global event brand standards.
  • Oversee swag strategy, vendor relationships, and production timelines.
  • Drive global consistency of Sophos branded promotional items and attire.
  • Partner with the Design team to evolve booth creative annually.
  • Partner with Public Relations on speaker bureau activation at events, managing event-level preparation and on-site execution.
  • Align speaker opportunities with event strategy and Sophos messaging priorities.
  • Serve as the central coordination point across field sales, channel, product marketing, PR, and design.
  • Build event calendars, reporting frameworks, and post-event measurement practices.
  • Identify and curate corporate promotional sponsorship opportunities.
  • Manage budgets across a portfolio of global events.
