Labcorp is seeking a Specialty Marketing Executive (Outside Sales) to join their team in California. The territory for this position covers California’s Central Valley (Greater Fresno, Bakers Field, and San Luis Obispo). The ideal candidate would reside within the territory. This role involves driving new business, organizing an annual book of upsell business, and meeting sales growth goals. The executive will serve as a subject matter expert for Labcorp's testing solutions, build customer relationships through regular in-person visits, and act as a liaison between clients and Labcorp. Collaboration with Labcorp Clinical Sales counterparts on new business opportunities is key. The role requires staying current with competitor offerings, industry trends, and new product developments. Market data and sales analytics will be used to make informed sales decisions and identify new business opportunities. Updates on strategic initiatives and new business opportunities will be provided to senior leadership. Effective management of travel logistics to maximize sales productivity is essential. The position also involves attending professional trade shows and events, updating customer information in Salesforce.com, cold calling to build a sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales, and performing in-services and training.
