About The Position

We are seeking a CDP Activation & Data Lead to drive both customer activation and supporting data capabilities within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP (RTCDP). This role combines hands-on journey orchestration in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) with a strong working understanding of AEP data structures and pipelines. You’ll lead the execution of customer journeys while ensuring the underlying data is reliable, usable, and aligned to business needs. You will partner closely with Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering teams to ensure that customer data is transformed into actionable, compliant, and high-performing activation strategies.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in marketing technology, lifecycle marketing technology, or CDP-driven campaign execution.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Real-Time CDP, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing journey-based campaigns and multi‑step activation flows.
  • Strong working knowledge of audience segmentation, profiles, identities, journey orchestration, and multichannel activation workflows.
  • Working knowledge of AEP data concepts, including schemas, datasets, and identities.
  • Solid technical familiarity with SQL (or similar querying tools) and cloud data environments.
  • Leadership experience managing or leading a team responsible for activation or journey execution, including review, coaching, and prioritization.
  • Experience integrating RT‑CDP with ESPs or other marketing automation platforms.
  • Background in lifecycle, retention, or personalization programs at enterprise scale.
  • Ability to leverage AI‑assisted insights, decisioning, or automation features to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, scale, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills related to customer data and activation logic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align technical execution to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead end-to-end execution of customer activation strategies, from requirements intake through deployment, QA, and post-launch validation.
  • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end journey-based campaigns, including audience segmentation, triggers, decisioning, and orchestration.
  • Translate marketing requirements into practical activation solutions within AEP and AJO
  • Establish and enforce best practices for activation design, journey configuration, and execution standards.
  • Partner with Analytics and business stakeholders to ensure campaigns deliver measurable outcomes
  • Identify optimization opportunities to improve campaign performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, prioritization, and oversight for activation work across the team
  • Support and maintain data pipelines and datasets within AEP/RTCDP to enable activation use cases
  • Work with XDM schemas, audiences, and profiles to ensure data is structured and usable for segmentation and personalization
  • Troubleshoot data quality, audience qualification, and activation issues
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, consent, and privacy standards
